2018 COMMUNITY BACCALAUREATE SERVICE

The Youth Pastors Coalition will sponsor the fifth annual community baccalaureate  service for the high school graduating class of 2018! The baccalaureate service’s purpose to send off a group of Christians from the community into the next stage of life. It is a way for Christians to go beyond the walls of our individual churches, denominations, and our usual small communities in order to take on the collective work of our Christian village. Every child of the community belongs to everyone in the community.  As Christians we believe that sending students into the next stage of life with words of affirmation, a spiritual challenge, and a celebration of their accomplishments is very important! Seniors from various churches will present ministries like music, dance, poetry, and a local youth pastor will teach a short lesson which will help equip students for where they’re going in life. Students do not have to register for this. It will be held at Fellowship Church at 1114 S. 1st St., Nashville North Carolina 27856. It is open to the public to attend and any graduating senior of the class of 2018 may participate. Contact Kyle at kyle.johnson@wordtab.net for more information.
